Game 41: Ducks vs. Kings 1.6.08 (Halfway Point of Season!)

Ducks Win 3-1!!!

"I’m usually not out there a lot on the power play, but I got a couple of chances there and it is fun," Pahlsson said. "It’s going to be tough to stay when we get some guys back here. I’m going to try to help out when I get my chance out there."

"I tried to get it on the far post and it hit my stick," Pahlsson said. "It was in the air and it went in. That is all that matters."

"It’s nice to see a guy get an opportunity," said Scott Niedermayer. "He does a lot of the tough work that isn’t all the glory. Now he’s out there on the power play. It’s nice to see get him rewarded with a goal. He’s a gifted player, has a great wrist shot and is a big, strong guy."

"With Jonas, any time a goalie pitches you a shutout, why fix it if it isn’t broken? " said Ducks coach Randy Carlyle. "Tonight, he didn’t have that much work, but he was called to make some big stops at critical times."

"We just try to go out there and play defensively as well as we can," Scott Niedermayer said. "Every team you play has some highly skilled forwards that you have to respect. But it comes down to us doing out job. That is really what we can control. We’ve being doing it lately, playing smart, simple and hard in the tough areas."
