The Ducks signed defenseman Brian Salcido to a one-year contract. Per club policy, no financial terms of the deal were disclosed.

Also, just in case you haven't heard but I'm guessing you probably have, Beauchemin is now with the Toronto Maple Leafs (Or the Toronto Ducks, whichever you prefer to call them!).
