Ohhh MY God.. if you missed this game. Wow! LOL. First period was a period to forget, but period 2 brought on the comeback... and period 3 was a doozie!!! So Getzlaf tallied 2 goals, and Kunitz scored the goal that put us ahead (aka game winning goal). This game was so AWESOME!! The last couple of minutes looked grim for us again. Got another last minute penalty... and THEN we got ANOTHER penalty after that... so the Queenies pull their goalie and it's a 6 on 3 situation. WOW... but the 3 players on the ice stood their ground and WE WON!!! :D :D :D :D Woooooooo.
Queens actually got a non-goal. It woulda been a goal if we hadn't taken a penalty resulting in a blow of the whistle... but for once I was happy we commited a penalty LOL because it stopped them from tieing the game up. Whew.. close call. Hahaha. Queen fans are probably pissed about that, but I really don't care... it gave them a PP and then that 6 on 3... not my fault their team SUCKS.

You're right princess, it didn't last longer then the 1st.. but you can't deny that was a horrible period! lol. It definitely scared the shit out of me... but hey, I'm happy now! We won! IN REGULATION! LOL!
nah. that was a really bad period, but the 1st period has never been our...fortay?? (did I spell that right? lol)
We're a good 2nd period team, and if we are behind like we were tonight we're an excellent 3rd period team... if we're ahead by the 3rd period then they kinda go blah like the 1st period but not as bad. At least in my observations that's how it goes.
Though we have had some great 1st periods too but for the most part we come out flat.
Your right, we are a 2nd and 3rd period team, altho as of late.. we've been giving up late goals that either lose it for us, or put us in OT (like the chance LA had tonight 6 on 3 for like 30 seconds?).
Its bed time for me lol, 11:22! I get to go to sleep knowing the ducks won, and hopefully... we start a new streak.. on the road no less!
